Together with Professors 沈揚庭, 簡聖芬, and 林軒丞 from the Department of Architecture and Techno-Art, I am initiating a new research approach to explore AI in music improvisation. This project aims to integrate AI into developing a holistic performance involving human dancers, a robotic arm, visual art, story scripts, and live music improvisation.

While I have extensive experience in improvisation and musical performance across diverse instruments, working with fully electronic devices presents a completely new challenge. Training an AI model using my own performance data is also a significant technical endeavor.

In this project, I plan to utilize ChatGPT extensively to explore how far AI can support artistic creation. All experiences will be documented and presented as a series of talks, providing insights for artists who wish to integrate technology into their creative practices.

I am truly excited to see what we will accomplish through this interdisciplinary exploration of art, technology, and improvisation.
