XTDesign Lab (Lab of Humanistic Experience and Technology Design) is a design research team at National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan) crossing the department of the Department of Industrial Design, the Institute of Creative Industries Design, and the Master Program of Techno-Art. Our work explores how technology design shapes meaningful human experiences, how field studies inspire new ways of interpreting humanity, and how critical design practices drive the future of design professions.

Our research spans key themes such as human motivation, technology-supported well-being, Society & Technology Science, and cultural sustainability. We take a multidisciplinary approach, combining both design practice and research. Our expertise includes industrial design, experience design, interactive prototyping, and social-psychological research methods—allowing us to bridge design, technology, and human-centered inquiry.
